The Storm Warriors meet Kingdom Connectorswarheart–July 19, 2018
When business men of faith gather, passions unite, and God’s Kingdom is glorified. That is what happened at the Builders First Source facility in Arlington, Texas this week. Builders, builder’s supply companies, and others from the construction industry met to pray for families and encourage one another. We were honored to be invited as the guest speaker to share our passion about why we drive into storms to help others. One thing was clear; everyone in the room loved families; not just their own, but every family they serve when they build, remodel, or supply the materials for restoration. They began their meeting praying for families and they ended their meeting praying for families. They understand that the very fabric of what makes up our great country are hard working families who want more for themselves and for their kids and believe in values such as honor, respect, loving, sharing and being there for each other when the physical storms or the storms of life come crashing down.
Families matter. As StormWarriors, we know this truth to be true and it is the inspiration for us every time we track a storm or encourage a family affected by one. We live to bring the message of hope through warning, assisting, and restoring families touched by every type of storm: physical, emotional, financial, or spiritual. Our prayer before every storm tracking deployment is:
Lord, put us in the way of the storm so we can stand in the gap for families. You are our shield. Let us be their shield until they understand You more.
Families are why we do what we do. It is why Kingdom Connectors began meeting as well. We all desire to see families restored. Restoration is more than just putting the pieces back together. When God restores, He restores to where things were always meant to be. That is the heart of a Loving God. Kingdom Connectors understand this truth and we were blessed to be invited to share our story with them.
As part of our presentation, we shared a short video about storm tracking StormWarrior fashion:
We are glad whenever we are weak, but you are strong; and our prayer is that you may be fully restored. (2 Corinthians 13:9)
